Logistics Centre Grimberg

Right at the heart of the Ruhr Region, on an approximately 117,000 sqm site, a modern logistics and consolidation centre is being developed for the company Duvenbeck from Bocholt. With ideal connections to the A42 interstate autobahn and to the cargo transport hub in Herne, the plots on the site of the former “Wanit Works” are part of the Last-Mile-Logistics-Park enabling modern logistics processes to be implemented. In addition to the 25,000 sqm of floor space in the 12-metre-high crossdocking terminal with integrated mezzanine level, the logistics complex also provides a 2,200 sqm office building and truck/trailer parking lots. After completion, Duvenbeck will run the complex 24/7 and employ up to 400 people. Duvenbeck and Harpen have agreed a long-term contract, continuing their existing partnership in the Ruhr Region at this new location.
